Sales Associate / Tobacconist Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, energetic sales associate to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting customers with purchases of cigars and accessories as well as providing customer service to customers throughout our lounge. A high-energy, can-do, friendly attitude is a must.

Sales Associate / Tobacconist Duties and Responsibilities

• Restock and maintain humidor and retail shelving with stocked products
• Receive shipments/packages, price and store new inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular inventory counts
• Operate Point of Sale register for retail and beverage purchases
• Create, maintain and close out customer tabs
• Take drink orders and communicate with bartenders
• Assist customers with seating, menus and overall customer experience
• Bus tables and clean ashtrays
• Maintain humidor and lounge cleanliness
• Ensure customer satisfaction by smiling and answering any questions our customers may ask

Barback Requirements and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in retail or with cigars is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Detail-oriented, organized, cleanly
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must have a flexible schedule (may be required to work late shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed)
