TalentLogistiX is immediately seeking skilled Roofer in the West Lafayette, IN area to join our winning team! We offer steady work , above average wages with weekly pay for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

Pay Rate: $21.88/hr

Location: West Lafayette, IN 47907

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (some OT may be required)

Roofer Responsibilities:

• Perform repair and replacement of slate, tile, metal, built up roofing, various singly ply systems, shingles, gutter and downspouts.
• Reroof small sections of roof areas with slate, tile, metal, built up roofing, various singly ply systems, or shingles.
• Waterproof bases for fans, ventilators, and other building systems.
• Inspect roofs to locate the source of a leak or damage.
• Determine equipment, material, and resources needed to perform the repairs.
• Make temporary repairs and schedule permanent repairs to minimize the interruption of activities.
• Perform semi-annual preventative maintenance inspections of building maintained by Physical facilities.
• Uses standard sheet metal tools and methods to repair or replace flashings

Roofer Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of previous roofing experience.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in repair or replacement of various roof systems (Slate, tile, metal, built-up roofing, various single ply systems, shingles, gutters and downspouts)
• Strong verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and schematics required.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Must be able to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts at heights up to 100 feet.
• Valid driver's license required.
