Our well-established team is looking for a motivated and experienced title agent to join us in achieving our goal of providing consistently excellent closing services to our clients. Responsibilities

•Follow closing instructions, and verify that all closing conditions have been satisfactorily met
•Verify all closing documentation, mortgage closing documents, third-party orders, closing packages, and signatures are correct in the loan files
•Collect documentation, review, prepare, and close cash or loan files
•Perform tasks necessary to clear title requirements, fund the closing of real estate purchase and sale transactions, and confirm all items needed to issue title insurance policies have been met
•Monitor scheduled closing dates and work with the closing team to ensure all deadlines are met
•Request funding approval and once obtained initiate disbursement of funds to all necessary parties to the transaction
•Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner
•Facilitate title search and prepare title abstract and title opinion
•Work alongside a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, title insurance agents, escrow officers, closing agents, settlement agents, law firms, paralegals, and escrow companies throughout the closing process
•Record all legal documents at the county and federal level and present deed to new owners
•Verify ownership, legal descriptions, and restrictions by analyzing liens, maps, public records, leases, plat books, agreements, surveys, and contracts

Qualifications

•Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential
•Extremely organized with great time management and analysis skills
•Candidates must be proficient with title software [Qualia Preferred]
•Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required
•5 years of experience with conducting real estate closings from Intake to Post-Closing, including preparing closing settlement statements, clearing title insurance requirements, drafting closing documents, funding transactions, recording documents, and issuing the final policy
•Ability to delegate tasks
•Concerned about doing things the right way

•Must be deadline-driven, detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
•Client relations and business development experience are a plus
•Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
•Requires 3-5 years of title closing experience, abstractor, title examiner, or closing services experience
•High school diploma requiredcollege degree preferred
•Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills
•Requirements for state licensing must be mettitle producers license is ideal
