Salary: $24-$29/hour

Join our team! Work closely with cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats, assisting with feeding, care, and health checks. With 3-4 years of ranch experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and a knack for teamwork, you're the ideal candidate. Join our dedicated team and embrace the ranching lifestyle!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with livestock care, including cattle, pigs, sheep, and goat herds, encompassing tasks such as pasture movement, feeding, watering, and sorting for tagging, castration, vaccination, etc.
• Assist in administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides.
  • Administer IM, SubQ, and IV shots.
• Monitoring Sheep/Goat health and wellness
• Assist with lambing and kidding season. 
• Clean and maintain the sheep/livestock areas.
• Assist in maintaining and setting up farm/ranch structures, equipment (e.g., buildings, fences including electric single line, electric portable, and barbed wire), and irrigation (properly water pastures using wheel-line and handset irrigation).
• Operate ATVs, trucks and forklift
• Apply herbicide and maintain the landscape.

Qualifications/Requirements:  

• At least 3-4 years of experience and knowledge working on a ranch.
• Livestock and pasture experience, including lambing/kidding. (Holistic Management knowledge preferred).
• Knowledge of safe work practices around horses and other livestock
• Experience in monitoring animal appearance/behavior and communicating any necessary information to superiors.
• Must be 18 or older, have proof of authorization to work in the United States and clear a background check.
• Bilingual: Spanish (Fluent) and English (Fluent)
• Work effectively with minimal supervision, self-motivated and self-starter
• Physical requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors, on uneven, slippery terrain in varying weather conditions with dust and allergens
  • Ability to twist, bend, kneel, climb, lift 100 lbs., and use hand tools as necessary
• Strong commitment to teamwork
• Ability to adhere to the organization's policies, procedures and regulation.
