Who is the QA Tester?

The QA tester assists with quality assurance testing for our digital projects. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for inconsistencies, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, content teams, and project managers.

In This Role, You Can Expect To

  • Conduct thorough content and formatting reviews to identify inconsistencies and missing elements.
  • Perform device testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile to ensure responsiveness.
  • Identify and report minor code-related display issues using basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
  • Verify proper metadata, alt text, and heading structures for SEO compliance.
  • Review and confirm content updates in content management systems like Sitefinity, Kentico, and WordPress.
  • Check all internal and external links for accuracy and functionality.
  • Log and track issues using Bugherd, Jira, Workfront, or similar tools.

This is a temporary, project-based role.

What do You Need?

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors.
  • CMS experience (Sitefinity, Kentico, WordPress, or similar).
  • Basic HRML and CSS knowledge for identifying minor formatting/display issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to report issues clearly and effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify content inconsistencies and suggested improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers, content teams, and project managers.
  • Access to a computer and home office setup designed to maximize efficiency (dual monitors are strongly encouraged) and a reliable internet connect.
  • Experience with SEO best practices, cross-device testing, and structured error logging is a plus but not required.
