Project Manager, Clinical Lab Equipment Installation (Healthcare) At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher company, we develop diagnostic solutions that impact over 1.2 billion patients worldwide. As a global leader in clinical diagnostics, we are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the implementation and installation of our diagnostic instrumentation portfolio in partnership with laboratory customers, hospital facilities, IT, and internal teams. This position reports to the Manager of Technical Project Management and is part of the Technical Project Management Team. The role is fully remote. Responsibilities Execute professional project planning using oral and written communication, delivering quality implementations with regular updates to project teams and stakeholders. Act as the single point of contact between the customer and BCI, ensuring streamlined communications and monitoring of project timelines throughout the lifecycle. Lead BCI resources—both personnel and inventory—to maintain schedule. Maintain all project‑related documentation and present current project status and task list at project meetings. Provide post‑installation follow‑up, issue resolution, project close‑out, and hand over to local Sales and Service Teams. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree with preference for 2+ years of experience managing projects; must provide examples and project artifacts such as communication plans, project plans, risk plans, etc. Advanced understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry with heavy emphasis on laboratory regulatory environment. PMP eligible (real‑life project experience that counts toward qualification to sit for the exam). Must be willing to travel domestically at least 80% of the time, based on the need of the position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Preferred Skills Prior diagnostic laboratory management with project management experience. Managing projects using Smartsheet.
