Head of Project Execution, Packaging
Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Packaging product group, System Drives division, Motion business area. You will be mainly accountable for execution of package projects with medium voltage variable speed drives at the core along with other project components like motors, transformers, switchgear, cooling systems, e-house: •Collaborating with various internal teams - supply chain management/engineering/controlling and external parties - customer/consultant/suppliers, to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines. •Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. •Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills. •Documenting your learning in the form of guidebook for project execution.
Qualifications for the role
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering, in the United States.
- Prior experience with any ERP software like SAP, and project planning software like MS Project.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
