What You'll Do:
As a Pre-Construction and Estimating Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our business development, estimating, and pre-construction processes. You'll ensure seamless project transitions and deliver outstanding client service.
Client and Sales Management: Develop competitive budgets and estimates (ranging from $1M to $5M), contribute to bid calendars, and cultivate strong client relationships.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with the pre-construction and estimating team to gather vendor and subcontractor proposals, clarify scopes of work, and manage RFIs and submittals.
Financial Oversight: Ensure proposals meet target gross margins and maintain profitability throughout the buyout phase.
Brand Standards: Stay up-to-date on hotel brand standards and ADA compliance, ensuring estimates meet all design and operational requirements.
Information Management: Conduct on-site and digital takeoffs, organize project contacts, and maintain accurate records.
Client Development: Represent our company at client meetings, site visits, and kick-off events, consistently enhancing client satisfaction and retention.
What You'll Bring:
3-6 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
General contractor or subcontractor experience is highly preferred; hotel construction or tenant improvement experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in estimating and project management software, plus Microsoft 365 skills.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage complex processes with accuracy and thrive under pressure.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and client meetings.
