Position Summary:

The Podiatrist provides clinical care at a multispecialty outpatient practice located in East Memphis. This position will be the third physician in an established, busy practice.

The Podiatrist will diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions from pediatric to the geriatric population. Duties will include conducting thorough patient assessments, performing non-surgical and surgical treatments, and providing preventive care education.

  • Provides the patient with an exceptional experience.
  • Provides high quality podiatric care.
  • Educates patients and families on preventive care.
  • In collaboration with physicians and clinical teams, maintains applicable policies and procedures, and participates in quality assurance efforts.
Requirements:

Education:

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.)

License & Certification:

  • Certification with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine is preferred
  • ABFAS eligibility or certification
  • Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in TN, or eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee
  • Current certification DEA number, or eligible for certification DEA number
  • ACLS/BLS/PALS Certification
