Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr About this position We are seeking an experienced Podcast Producer to oversee the production of approximately 4‑5 shows weekly. This role is critical in managing all aspects of podcast production—from creative development to distribution—while maintaining network protocols and ensuring the highest audio quality standards. Responsibilities Show Launches You will manage the show development process in collaboration with your team, ensuring all launch projects are completed on time and meet Dear Media’s standards. Challenges or delays will be promptly communicated to the Senior Director of Production to ensure smooth progress. Editing and Quality Control You will collaborate with the editing team to deliver polished episodes that meet client expectations and maintain high standards. Using professional editing judgment, you will create an optimal listening experience and conduct thorough quality. You will also be responsible for maintaining the quality of projects delivered by your direct reports. Distribution You will oversee the uploading of episodes to ensure they are released on schedule and to the correct channel. Any discrepancies or delays will be addressed promptly to maintain consistency. Talent Building and maintaining strong relationships with talent will be a priority. You will communicate effectively to provide feedback, address any issues, and ensure a collaborative and productive environment. Reporting & Analytics The Producer will conduct quarterly reviews with talent to analyze show performance and provide constructive feedback. They will also share monthly analytics updates with talent and the internal team. Ads & Sponsorships Managing the execution of ads weekly, the Producer will ensure all talking points and calls‑to‑action are included. Additionally, they will work with talent to craft compelling ad reads. Additional Responsibilities You may also be required to perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organization. Qualifications Proven experience in podcast production, including editing and audio management. Direct leadership experience. Experience using audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality. Familiarity with podcast analytics and distribution platforms. Understanding of advertising processes within podcasts is a plus.
