Solvet is searching for up to three Pharmacy Technicians to provide medication support services a federal contract. This is a unique opportunity to support a secure facility

Job Title:
Pharmacy Technician

Location:
Bruceton Mills, WV

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6am–6pm
No weekends or holidays
Up to 40 hours/week | 1-year contract: Oct 1, 2025 – Sept 30, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, labeling, and distributing medications

• Maintain and restock medications, supplies, and emergency crash carts

• Help manage automated dispensing systems and update medical records

• Conduct audits, track narcotics and syringes, and maintain clean, compliant pharmacy areas

• Participate in clerical duties: scanning, callouts, EMR updates, patient scheduling, and reporting

• Support infection control, safety, and inventory procedures

• Operate pharmacy systems and follow BOP Formulary guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (pharmacy tech, medical assistant, EMT, LVN, etc.)

• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)

• Strong documentation and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Experience working in federal or correctional healthcare settings

• Familiarity with EMR systems and pharmacy documentation

Additional Details:

• Independent contractor role – no benefits provided

• Must provide proof of liability and workers' comp insurance

• Must pass background check
