Job Description

Springs Law Group, a high-performing and client-centered personal injury law firm in Colorado Springs, is seeking an Experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. This role can be remote or hybrid, offering flexibility while maintaining a tight-knit, collaborative culture.

As a key member of our firm, you'll manage pre-litigation cases from start to finish using Filevine, handle client onboarding and intake, track and resolve liens, organize medical records and bills, and draft and send settlement opportunity letters (demands). More importantly, you'll develop real relationships with clients, understanding their human stories beyond their paperwork.

Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Pre-Litigation Case Files - Oversee personal injury cases from intake to settlement using Filevine.
  • Client Onboarding & Intake - Guide new clients through the intake process with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Medical Records & Liens - Request, organize, and track medical records, bills, and liens to ensure a complete case workup.
  • Draft Settlement Opportunity Letters (Demands) - Prepare and send high-quality settlement packages to insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
  • Client Communication - Maintain regular phone and written contact with clients to update them on case progress and support them through the process.
  • Attorney Collaboration - Partner with attorneys and other staff to develop case strategies and achieve the best outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as a personal injury paralegal with a focus on pre-litigation case workup.
  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency with Filevine case management software.
  • Case Workup Knowledge: Solid understanding of liens, medical records, intake/onboarding, and drafting settlement opportunity letters (demands).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including comfort making phone calls and speaking with clients, providers, and adjusters.
  • Organization: Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with attorneys and team members.
  • Professionalism: High emotional intelligence, empathy, and commitment to a drama-free, client-centered environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to embrace change, learn new processes, and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.
