Job Description
At SuperCaliFragilistic Speech Language Therapy & Allied Servidocious, our purpose is to collaboratively improve our clients' abilities to interact, communicate and participate in everyday life. We are seeking compassionate and caring Music Therapists to join our SUPER team on a session by session basis. You create your own caseload and hours! This position is based in Boston and Greater Boston, MA. As a Music Therapist with Supercalifragilistic, you will treat our clients with fun, individualized and creative way! This position is based in clients homes. There are opportunities for virtual sessions too! You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and their families in their homes to improve and enhance their skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy sessions to clients to improve their behavior and communication skills
- Collaborate with other allied health professionals in a caring and collaborative manner
- Educate clients and their families on music therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Music Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
