Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Stifel Theatre as a Part-Time Event Carpenter. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the success of our concerts and events through hands-on carpentry and maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities:
•Act as the on-duty carpenter during assigned concerts and events, providing essential support for setups and breakdowns.
•Assist with the arrangement of tables, chairs, and other equipment to ensure seamless event execution.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas and the carpentry shop.
•Identify equipment needing maintenance and collaborate on a plan for necessary repairs and upkeep.
•Operate forklifts for event load-in and load-out as needed.
•Supervise casual labor staff when engaged for events.
•Support full-time carpenters with building maintenance projects, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and furniture moving.
•Participate in building assessments with the Senior Operations Manager and Maintenance Foreman to prioritize maintenance tasks.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
•Forklift certification is required.
•Basic proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
•Ability to work independently with sound judgment and minimal supervision.
•Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and event personnel.
•Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow and convey instructions clearly.

Qualifications:
•Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
•Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
•Capability to lift at least 40 lbs.
