About the Role NDSU is hiring
Parking Enforcement Officers to help keep our campus safe and organized. This role is great for students, retirees, or anyone seeking supplemental income during the academic year. No work is required on weekends, holidays, or when NDSU classes are not in session.
What You'll Do - Enforce campus parking lots and time zones
- Issue citations, warnings, and communications
- Use handheld devices and printers to issue citations

Work Schedule: 2-Positions for 12:30pm to 4:30pm shift, Monday through Friday (with limited flexibility)
2-Positions for 4:00pm to 8:00pm shift, Monday through Friday (with limited flexibility)
No work is required (scheduled) on weekends, holidays or when NDSU classes are not in session.
Advertised Pay: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.
Minimum Qualifications: - Must have a high school diploma, or GED.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability & willingness to work in the outdoor, hot & cold climate of North Dakota, from August to May.
- Ability to politely & professionally engage with confrontational customers.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous parking enforcement, law enforcement and/or security experience.
