The 1st shift schedule is Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM with overtime available on a business need basis. Responsibilities include using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for 8+ hours per day, reading and interpreting blueprint specifications, SRM’s and shop orders to determine areas to be sealed and painted, mixing paint, applying cleaning solvents, cleaning and roughening surfaces, applying paint primers, clear coat, sealants or adhesives, applying spray release, completing seal and water testing of components, disposing of hazardous materials, masking areas for application, maintaining inventory of chemicals and paints, participating in area organization and cleaning activities, complying with Nadcap standards and log keeping requirements, maintaining all quality standards as defined by the business, and performing all other duties as assigned. Qualifications include typically a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational/technical education in a related discipline, and U.S. Person status as defined by relevant regulations. The position is onsite and considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines, subject to drug and alcohol testing.
