Job Title: Packager

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Packager This role involves working directly with operators in a fast-paced environment to ensure products are properly packaged and prepared for shipping. This position requires a high level of physical activity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Work in the 'catching' department, assisting operators.
• Catch pieces coming off the line and place them into boxes.
• Cut wood using a saw; proficiency with a tape measure is essential.
• Wrap drywall studs of various sizes (6 ft, 8 ft, 12 ft).
• Stack and wrap pallets for shipping.
• Perform repetitive tasks involving material handling on a conveyor system.
• Read and interpret order sheets and paperwork.
• Operate table saw to cut wood parts.
• Remain on feet for the entire shift.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with work instructions.
• Possession of steel toe boots.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using band saw and table saw.
• Must purchase a white hard hat prior to the first day.
• Open to mandatory overtime.

Work Environment

This role is located in a large, clean, and well-lit industrial facility. The work environment is busy, especially during the summer season, and involves working with racking systems, drywall framing, and other products used in new construction. Safety and cleanliness are priorities, and the facility provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
