Description The Nurse Technician is currently enrolled in good standing in a nursing program approved by the commission, who has completed at least one academic term which included a clinical component. Functions under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and within the scope of practice defined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Required Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Washington State approved registered nursing program, with satisfactory completion of at least one academic term which includes a clinical component. Transcripts and nursing school skills checklist must be submitted to the hospital upon hire and updated regularly. Washington Nursing Technician Registration upon hire.
