Position: Milling Crew Skid Steer Operator

Asphalt Specialties Company, Inc. is a Colorado family-owned corporation. We specialize in meeting individual customer needs while providing quality products and services throughout the Front Range of Colorado. We supply a full range of building materials including aggregate, asphalt and many recycled products.

We are seeking candidates for MILLING CREW Skid Steer Operator to join our milling crew based out of Denver, CO. The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience moving heavy equipment and working with asphalt milling. 

Responsibilities:

* Support the milling process by completing groundwork, changing teeth on the milling machine, and operating a skid steer to support the milling process.

* Work safely and appropriately for varied conditions and situations.

* Perform daily maintenance and safety checks, cleaning, and greasing, etc.

* Operate with a priority of job safety for all persons working around the equipment.

* Communicate clearly with crewmembers to work as a team.

* Willingness to flag traffic in front of milling operations.

* Work with the team to provide a fully prepared site for the paving crew.

Qualifications:

* Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

* At least 1 year of previous milling or asphalt crew experience is preferred.

* Ability to perform general labor tasks around the mill as needed.

* General and applied knowledge of the paving process and proper procedures for quality finished work.

* Must be dependable and show up for all assigned shifts.

* Able and willing to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold for extended shifts.

* Willing to work weekends, and overtime as required.
