This role will support the Costuming production teams in the development and alterations of hats, headpieces, and other specialty items for performers, characters, operational Cast Members, and Audio-Animatronics figures. You will report to the Costuming Workroom Manager. The pay rate for this role in Florida is $18.40 per hour. Basic Qualifications : Experience with alterations and refabrication work Experience with industrial sewing machines for millinery purposes Experience with irons, press boards, steamers, hand-cutting tools, and millinery tools Repetitive twisting and bending Repetitive grasping, clutching, grabbing Sitting, standing, or walking for extended durations Minimal climbing of step stools/small ladders Lifting, lowering, and sliding of boxes/containers Be able to work with or around costumes made of natural or synthetic materials such as fur, foam, latex, or mylar Comfortable working with or around performers in various stages of dress or undress Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions or extreme temperatures Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and adhesives that may require the use of a respirator Additional Information : KEYWORD: WDWCasting, Costuming WDW: Walt Disney World Casting Hourly Jobs
