Medical Assistants

Flower Mound, Texas 75028
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants that have worked in a Dermatology office to join our client's healthcare team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in supporting their medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p , 1 half day Saturday per month (8am-noon)

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• MUST be able to function in a busy/fast paced environment
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Coordinate with various departments within the hospital or clinic systems.

  Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred in Dermatology.
• Knowledge of dermatology practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care standards.
• Strong understanding of human physiology and medical terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations typical of hospital settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
