Under minimal supervision will perform varied and complex tasks within the assigned cell, will disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble and final prep at least 80% of components within the shop (Electric Power, Accessories). Resolves most questions and problems, may serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Responsibilities include participating in continuous improvement and environmental, health and safety activities, understanding and delivering on performance goals, working closely with supervisors to resolve problems, entering and retrieving information from SAP system, demonstrating safe work habits, following FAA and company regulations, interfacing with customers, inspecting and dispositioning components and modules, reworking/repairing/scrapping/replacing components, assembling, disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic accessory components including testing, checking clearances and tolerances, recording data, verifying electrical continuity and insulation resistance, independently following through on job assignments, and supporting EH&S, Quality, and HR initiatives. The position is 1st shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; Monday to Friday. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years relevant experience, preferably 4-6 years in aerospace industry with Fuel System Equipment, and A&P license preferred. The role is onsite and safety sensitive per FAA guidelines with drug and alcohol testing.
