Job Details Responsibilities: As a Permanent Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all aspects of the accounting operations including the monthly close cycle, financial reporting, internal control, and policy development.
2. Managing WIP accounting, ensuring all work-in-progress costs are properly documented, tracked, and reported.
3. Collaborating with the management team to formulate financial strategies and make prudent business decisions.
4. Ensuring the company is compliant with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
6. Managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyzing financial data to identify potential areas of improvement.
7. Supervising, mentoring, and developing the accounting team.
8. Liaising with external auditors and managing audit processes.
9. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in WIP accounting and management position.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
7. Proficient in using accounting software and other business-related software.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
