Mechanical Engineer Position

We are seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our growing Professional Design Services team in any of the following Pond offices: Peachtree Corners, GA; Atlanta, GA; Savannah, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Tampa, FL; Port Orange, FL; Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; Mobile, AL; Huntsville, AL; New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; San Diego, CA; Honolulu, HI.

Our projects serve clients in local and federal government, industrial, and corporate sectors. We have many exciting projects in-house with growing demands for advancements in system types and applications. Our mechanical engineers work alongside a full service, multidisciplinary team of professionals, in a fast-paced and passionate work environment; working to deliver comprehensive design consulting to our customers. The ideal candidate possesses 1-3 years of related MEP experience (internship and professional experience included). The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of engineering professionals while supporting a range of multidisciplinary projects.

Our Professional Design team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast, the nation, and the world and our existing client base includes transportation, oil and gas, renewables, government (local, state, and federal), Department of Defense, private development, and water resources and restoration. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • 1-3 years of experience (internship and professional experience included)
  • EIT certification preferred or anticipated
  • Understanding of applied HVAC and Plumbing engineering
  • Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCad and BIM
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Mechanical Engineer I with a salary range of $55,500.00 - $94,400.00.

Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
