Position summary:
EYA, an award winning residential builder/developer, is seeking a Marketing Intern to develop and maintain marketing and digital content. This internship opportunity will be an integral part of a highly collaborative marketing team focused on direct to consumer marketing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in content writing and social media with the ability to communicate clearly and tactfully. This is a summer internship with a flexible work schedule to accommodate for academic requirements and needs (i.e. class schedule etc.). 

Is creative content development and writing your passion? Are you a go-getter with a can-do attitude? Do you love to tell stories using a variety of marketing platforms especially social media? Are you incredibly detail oriented and organized? If so, this position is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Write blog posts with focus on keywords and SEO
• Assist with event planning for homebuyer and internal events
• Provide research support for the Marketing team including blog research, competitor research, and other topics as needed
• Manage and update the EYA photo library
• Data analysis using AI tools

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills, with an eye for compelling storytelling and brand messaging.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships across teams.
• A creative and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc) and AI tools is a plus.

General information:

• Internship Duration: May – August
• Work Schedule: Hybrid format
  • In-person: Tuesday – Thursday at our main office in Bethesda, MD
  • Remote: Monday & Friday
