Job Description

Reporting to our Marketing Manager, we are seeking a Marketing Coordinator . In this role, you will focus on providing assistance with marketing programs and initiatives, while surrounded by genuine people and great European products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Company’s social media content and presence on multiple platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, Apps, etc.
• Publish, distribute, and maintain all updates to company and marketplace pricing.
• Plan, implement and maintain promotion programs.
• Collect and analyze data pertaining to customer surveys/profiles and product records.
• Organize special events, trade shows, exhibits, product shows, new product launches, demonstrations, seminars and training courses.
• Oversee preparation of marketing materials.
• Replenish marketing material and sales brochures.
• Coordinate sales incentive and recognition programs, contests, promotions, special events and awards.
• Coordinate direct mail campaigns.
• Liaise with Web designers in support of website maintenance and web-based marketing strategies.
• Monitor social media conversations to identify opportunities and potential issues and escalate to management.
• Respond to all communications (blog comments, emails, twitter messages, etc.).
• Ensure product labeling is compliant with FDA/USDA requirements (Nutritional Panel, Ingredient List, Serving Size, Organic Certification; Expiry Date/Lot Date Information).
• Generate/order labels for accounts as required.
• Maintain Sales and Marketing directory.
• Special projects or other marketing duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Marketing
• Several years of Marketing experience with knowledge of direct marketing and social media content creation
• Strong customer service and creative skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment
• Proficient in MSOffice
• Graphic design experience (Canva or Adobe Suite)
• Experience in the Specialty Food Distribution or a related industry an asset
