About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and Operations Intern to support ECHELON’s brand, communications, and marketing initiatives—particularly in social media management and email marketing —while also contributing to the day-to-day operations of the business. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working directly with the Vice President of Marketing and the Vice President of Administration on high-impact campaigns, events, and strategic projects that engage financial advisors, C-level executives, and industry influencers. The role is equally split between Marketing and Operations/Administration , providing a well-rounded perspective and exposure to multiple facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and schedule content for ECHELON’s social media channels (primarily LinkedIn)
• Assist in managing the content calendar and monitoring post performance
• Help build and distribute email communications including event invitations, newsletters, and campaign updates
• Support the development of branded templates and visuals using tools such as Canva or Adobe
• Conduct research on relevant industry topics and competitors for content development
• Ensure all communications adhere to ECHELON’s brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Assist with event marketing, including pre-event email outreach and post-event follow-up
• Contribute to internal marketing organization, tracking, and reporting processes
• Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Maintain documentation and databases
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project execution
• Perform administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
• Experience with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
• Familiarity with email marketing tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Interest in financial services or B2B marketing preferred
• Basic design or formatting skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
