About the Role
The Company is seeking a Climate and Environment Managing Director to lead the consolidation of a strategic vision that is in line with the business plan and institutional strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support on climate change topics, offering technical assistance, and defining priorities and roadmaps in this area. This role requires a professional with at least 10 years' of relevant experience, a proven track record in financial services, and in-depth knowledge of climate and environment, particularly in the context of the private sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Managing Director will also be tasked with providing strategic leadership, generating actionable knowledge, and managing resources to ensure the delivery of impact targets. Applicants for the Climate and Environment Managing Director position at the company should hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and be proficient in English and one of the other official languages. The role demands a leader who can articulate and generate climate and environment-focused knowledge, as well as coordinate with various units to fund advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, be adept at managing teams, and have a deep understanding of the private sector's role in sustainable development.
