Job Position: Maintenance Technician for an Apartment Community

Location: Fairfax, VA 22030

Pay Rate: $18-$27/hr

If you re a motivated and reliable worker seeking full-time or part-time employment, we encourage you to apply.\n\nWhy Join InterSolutions?\n- Fast hiring process start working quickly!\n- Referral bonuses for bringing in new talent\n- Career coaching to help you grow in the industry\n- Opportunities for permanent placement\n\nAs an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you ll be responsible for handling service requests and maintaining the overall functionality of the community under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor or property manager.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities Include:\n\nComplete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately\nPrepare vacant apartments for new residents by managing the turnover process\nKeep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris\nDeliver exceptional customer service to residents\nPerform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs, including:\n- Repairing electrical circuits, switches, and breakers\n- Servicing and installing light fixtures and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers)\n- Fixing and replacing toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking\n- Handling minor carpentry repairs, including doors, window screens, and blinds\n- Painting and drywall repair as needed\n- Removing bulk trash, including discarded appliances\n- Clearing drains and sewer lines (up to 4')\n\nIf you re ready to take the next step in your maintenance career, apply today and get started!\n\nRequirements:\n\nBasic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areas\nPrevious apartment maintenance experience preferred\nHVAC Certification is a plus\nCapable of lifting up to 40 pounds and safely using ladders\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work weekends as required
