Common Man Roadside is hiring a Maintenance Technician!

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall safety and appearance of the properties. This position does require travel between locations in a company vehicle. This is a full time position, weekdays and weekends as required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Receiving work orders and providing solutions for each task
• Respond to work orders including minor plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration needs
• Gasoline island repairs (training provided)
• Ability to drive a pickup truck with a trailer attached
• Mitigate hazards and promote a safety-oriented culture
• Snow removal; including plowing, hand shoveling, and salting/sanding walkways
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repair
• Experience in trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to read and write repair orders
• Ability to provide positive customer service experience
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and/or customers.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
