Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Machine Operator (NCC/Belt Caster) for our 1st shift. Will be responsible for setting-up and operating Casting machines.

JTI has over thirty years' experience specializing in the design, manufacture and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components into the global electronics market.

Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $18.50 - $19.50/per hour.

Work Schedule (Monday-Friday) 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least six (6) months in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to set-up and operate semi-automated machines.
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience working in a CleanRoom Environment and the use of Cleanroom Apparel
• Experience with Casting machines
• Experience in manufacturing chemical environment

Essential Functions:

• Set-up and operate casting machines to cast dielectric material of different types and thickness.
• Read the travelers to ensure that they are using the correct dielectric type and caster set-up.
• Read and locate program files and data recording in SPC Data Entry.
• Inspect work or materials produced.
• Occasionally, back-up support to Mixing Dept.

P hysical and Mental Demands

• Standing/Walking up to 90%; Sitting up to 10% of shift.
• Twisting of neck and waist up to 90%; stoop and bend up to 20% of shift.
• Lift, push, pull, and/or move - up to 80 lbs. with assistance; up to 70% of shift.
• Measuring material up to 90% of shift.
• Use of respirator up to 70% of shift, when supporting Mixing Dept.
• Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability
• Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
• Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.
• Interact with co-workers to complete tasks.
