Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to to perform duties associated with the medical care and treatment of students with disabilities at a school district in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidates must be capable of working with students of a wide range of ages and ability levels.Job Quick Facts: Ref#:BD-618-01 Profession: Nursing Specialty: LVN Location: San Antonio, Texas Facility Type: School Job Type: Contract Shift Schedule: As Per School Calendar Start Date: August 01, 2024 Duration: 1 year Rate: $30/hrRequirements: Vocational/Practical nursing training Current and valid practical nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing BLS or CPR training Expertise in student specific case management plans for acute and chronic health conditionsResponsibilities: Implement students medical plans as recommended by a medical doctor or medical agency. Attend meetings with the multidisciplinary teams and the ARDC to discuss such services. Meet regularly with the campus nurse to discuss student medical care and provide daily logs and documentation to the District. Follow District nursing standards for eligible students. Complete documentation of services and submit prior to billing. Provide own transport. Other duties as assigned by the administration.
