Description

This individual will record and edit audio content developed for Answers.TV, attractions, exhibits, theater presentations, and radio by working both on-location and in the studio.

This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. Responsibilities

• Work with Video Producers and Audio Manager / Producer to create and record content for Answers.TV, attractions, exhibits, theater presentations and radio.
• Mic and record talent for video shoots at our attractions, and in our recording studios
• Organize and operate location sound recording equipment
• Audio post-production using Pro Tools, post-production software, and sound effects
• Source music, creative sound design, record foley or sound effects as needed for various projects and ongoing video series
• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
• Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset
• Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
• And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

Requirements

• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently to create unique, high-quality content
• Knowledge of industry audio practices in a video production environment
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to record location sound in various environments with the ability to overcome challenges
• Working knowledge of Pro Tools software required
• Knowledge of mic placement techniques both in studio and on location video shoots
• Knowledge of mixing for surround sound environments a plus
• Knowledge of iZotope or other post-production software a plus
• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church

Education & Experience

• Minimum five years audio recording / editing experience and a strong portfolio
• Degree Required in an audio or a related field
• Experience with studio or location sound recording required
