Litigation Legal Assistant with a down to earth, reputable boutique law firm.

Job Requirements

• Provide administrative support to Partners and Associates
• Preparing shell documents (pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence)
• MUST have E Filing experience
• Experience assisting with time entry/billing
• Drafting Experience
• Trial preparation from an administrative/document standpoint
• Proofreading, formatting and finalizing all outgoing documents
• Preparing document production
• Preparing exhibits for depositions and trials
• Preparing notebooks of documents for attorney use, sometimes in collaboration with a paralegal
• Run conflicts checks for new client matters
• Draft, review, proofread and send cover letters along with monthly client invoices
• Maintain electronic files for client matters
• Assist with travel arrangements upon request including car, hotel and airfare reservations
• Oversee arrangements for in-house and external depositions
• Set up conference calls and arrange meetings
• Time Entry for attorneys
• Calendar deadlines
• Prepare and process expense reports

Requirements

• At least 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
• State and Federal E-filing experience
