Job Description
IT Desktop Support Technician
The purpose of the IT Desktop support technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience is for support on site. The Desktop Support Tech provides desktop and server administration support to the Houston, Cy-fair, Conroe, Texas City, Richmond, Liberty, Beaumont, Colorado and Florida offices. The Desktop support Tech plays an important role in assisting firm employees troubleshoot problems with computers and software.
Position details: Hours: 8am -5pm with one hour lunch
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Valid Driver’s License
o must have a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
The ideal candidate should possess the qualities below:
• At least 3+ years of experience preferred but open to entry level candidates
• AV monitoring & remediation, through familiarity with MS Windows, OS and office productivity suite
• Ability to Troubleshoot the following: o Hardware o Software o OS issues on company desktops/laptops o Printer issues o VPN issues
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter
• Team Player
• Takes initiative
• Energetic
• Ability to interact with individuals in various levels of the organization
