About the Clinician's WorkdayThe Interventional Radiology position is Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m., with some weeknight and weekend call. Providers can expect to see approximately 40 patients per day, performing 814 procedures daily. This role is 100% IR and includes full-service arterial and venous angiographic procedures (trauma, GI bleeds, fistula/graft interventions, PE thrombectomy, TIPS, IVC filter, etc.), biliary interventions, cholecystostomy placement, and routine CT/IR/fluoro-guided procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, and nephrostomy tubes. Locum providers will also perform a mix of routine outpatient procedures and inpatient consults.
