Sacred Chrysalis Perinatal Loss & Bereavement Services is a newly formed 501(c)(3) seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as our Individual Donor Manager. This role is crucial in cultivating and maintaining relationships with our individual donors, ensuring the sustainability of our mission to provide compassionate, holistic, comprehensive, trauma-informed support, education, resources, and advocacy for underserved and underrepresented mothers, families, and communities experiencing pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant death and grief. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to attract new individual donors Maintain and nurture relationships with existing donors Create personalized communication plans for different donor segments Coordinate with the team to craft compelling donor appeals and updates Manage the donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information Analyze donation patterns and provide insights to improve fundraising strategies Organize and oversee donor appreciation events and activities Collaborate with other team members on fundraising initiatives and campaigns Ensure timely and heartfelt acknowledgment of all donations Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship management (preferred) Proficiency in database management and data analysis Excellent organizational and time management skills Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of bereaved families Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and donor management software Time Commitment Flexible schedule Minimum commitment of 6 months Benefits Make a significant impact in the lives of families experiencing perinatal loss Gain valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations Develop professional skills in communication, database management, and strategic planning Be part of a compassionate and dedicated team Potential for professional references and networking opportunities Can lead to a part-time paid role in the future How to Apply Please send your resume and a brief statement explaining your interest in this position to admin@sacredchrysalis.org.
