Job Summary:
The In-Store Merchandising Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining merchandising standards across all store locations. Through daily visits, this position ensures accurate pricing, planogram compliance, optimal stock levels, and high-quality product presentation. The Specialist acts as the eyes and ears of the Merchandising Department in stores, helping to create a consistent and compelling shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct daily store visits to monitor merchandising execution
· Implement planograms according to approved layouts
· Set up and fully stock store shelves when opening a new store or rebuilding an existing one
· Support merchandising tasks for new store openings and resets
· Physically measures items, fixtures, and shelving units for data entry and shelf planning.
· Check accurate price tags and promotional signage
· Monitor planogram compliance
· Identify and report out-of-stock (OOS) items or inventory gaps
· Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing
· Communicate store-level observations and corrective needs to the Merchandising Department
· Check seasonal promotions, product rollouts, and in-store displays
· Use standardized tools or reporting systems to document findings
· Collaborate with Planogram Specialists and Category Managers on in-store implementation
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in retail merchandising, store operations, or grocery preferred
· Strong attention to detail with ability to identify pricing and display inconsistencies
· Excellent communication skills and a professional, collaborative attitude
· Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
· Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for reporting
· Able to manage time effectively while traveling between multiple locations
Additional Requirements:
· Must have reliable transportation for daily travel between store locations
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods during store visits
· Mileage reimbursement provided according to company policy
· Flexibility to work a floating schedule, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed to meet store demands
