Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hybrid Residential Agent & EP Agent at Global Threat Solutions located in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves conducting protective and residential services for our client. This position will be primarily RST with a few days every week of Executive Protection work. This role also has two pay rates for the two types of work. RST days will be compensated at an hourly base pay of $35 for 12-hour days, and the EP position will be compensated at an hourly base pay of $45 for 12-hour days. Day-to-day tasks may include residential security operations, close protection, threat assessments, and advance work.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in residential or executive security, law enforcement or the military
• A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to pass a background and driving record check
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card
• Valid California BSIS Firearms Permit
• Valid California CCW
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently, and for long periods of time; ability to lift luggage, equipment and other heavy items
• Experience in residential security operations, close protection, and threat assessments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
• Training in first aid and defensive tactics
• Understanding of surveillance techniques and security technologies
• Flexibility to work irregular hours if needed and travel as needed
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or intelligence is a plus
• Certifications in security or related fields are beneficial

What you’ll do:

• Provide a safe and secure home environment for senior executives, family members, and guests.
• In a professional, discreet and respectful manner you will greet and receive guests; monitor CCTV and security technologies in a 24/7 Command Post; implement access control procedures; conduct foot patrols, receive and inspect deliveries, and execute other complementary procedures to maintain 24-hour security for residential properties.
• Communicate effectively and politely; maintain detailed, accurate logs
• Liaise with household staff, contractors, event staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that security procedures are understood and followed in day-to-day residential functions.
• Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies and other incidents.
• Assist with incident and disaster planning and response; conduct drills, maintain inventories, and test equipment
