This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient HR processes, accurate employee records, compliance with labor regulations, and a positive employee experience. Pay, Schedule, and Location - Starting at $25 - $27/hour, paid weekly
- 1st shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Glendale Heights, IL
Duties and Responsibilities - Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks
- Maintain and update employee records (digital and physical)
- Support the recruitment process: post openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates
- Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinating orientation sessions
- Prepare HR documents, such as orientation and onboarding materials
- Manage timekeeping and attendance records; support payroll processing as needed
- Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Assist with performance reviews, training sessions, and employee engagement activities
- Support HR compliance by maintaining personnel files and ensuring confidentiality
- Generate reports and maintain HR databases and HRIS systems
Requirements and Qualifications - Advanced Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive
- Strong organizational, multitasking skills, and work with urgency
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in an HR or administrative support role preferred
- Knowledge of basic HR functions and labor laws is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience with HR software (e.g., Paylocity)
- Basic understanding of recruitment and onboarding best practices
