Exciting Compensation Package

  • Competitive starting salaries: $128,703.56 - $141,073 DOE
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 after training!
  • Retention Bonus: $40,000 after 36 months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan

Your Role

As a Helicopter Pilot, you will provide high-quality air medical transport services in a safe and efficient manner. You will be a proactive team player, both in the air and on the ground, using your communication and technical skills to uphold our reputation in the EMS industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a schedule set by the company.
  • Be prepared to serve extra duty shifts as needed.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, including compliance with FAR and REACH requirements.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Communicate pertinent flight operation information to your shift change pilot.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation of required licensure and certifications.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, and the public.
  • Conduct pre-mission briefings and ensure safety compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with all allied health and public safety personnel.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2000 hours total time (helicopter).
  • 1000 hours PIC (helicopter).
  • 500 hours cumulative night experience.
  • 100 hours cumulative IFR experience.
  • EMS and FAR 135 experience preferred.
  • Commercial Instrument Helicopter Rating.
  • Current Class II Medical Certificate.
  • ATP rating preferred.
  • Airbus EC-135 or H145 or UH 72 experience required (250 hours total).
  • Previous NVG experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Moderate standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs from floor to bench height.
  • Must maintain a duty weight of less than 230 lbs.
  • Close and distant visual capability (Class 2 Aviation Medical).
