Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Graphic Designer, COECS – Boca Raton, FL.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer with a strong background in marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in graphic design, photography, and videography. Experience in web design is a plus. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling and effective marketing materials that align with the college’s brand and strategic goals.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design: Create high-quality, innovative designs for a variety of media including print, digital, and social platforms.

  • Photography and Videography: Plan, shoot, and edit photographs and videos for use in marketing campaigns, social media, and other promotional materials.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute creative strategies that support the college’s objectives.

  • Web Design (Preferred): Design and maintain engaging web pages that enhance user experience and align with the college’s brand.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to Florida Atlantic’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design, marketing, or a creative field.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

Strong photography and videography skills, including editing.

Knowledge of web design principles and experience with HTML/CSS is a plus.

A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design, photography, and videography projects.

Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative designs.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
