Applicants for this position must possess a thorough, in-depth knowledge of the liquor category. A passion for specialty spirits is required along with superior customer service skills to drive sales within a specific department.

Responsibilities:

• Works as part of a team to keep the spirits department and store organized and effectively merchandised; this includes ordering, moving, stocking and staging product.
• Assists in developing sales and provides exemplary customer service to all our guests.
• Continues to develop knowledge of spirits and other store products.
• Consistent and regular attendance. Works hours as scheduled.
• May be required to assist in other departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
• Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to read small type.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of liquor and its categories (i.e. whiskeys, vodkas, brandies, etc.)
• Ability to attend tasting events and sample product to better assist customers with their selections.

*We have openings for both part-time and full-time Liquor Associates

*Pay range is $16.75-$18.00+ based on availability and experience
