Come join the team at G & S Electric in Shreveport, Louisiana. We are looking for a Generator Technician to conduct service and maintenance to generators in the surrounding area.

What you’ll do:

• Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, spark plugs, etc..
• Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting for customers' generators (includes DC & AC Voltage equipment);
• Work independently or with a small team and company vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators;
• Involves multiple appointments per day with service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance;

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in a mechanical setting working on automobiles, small engines, or generators;
• Electrical background is a plus, but not required;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual;
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside;
