Full Stack Java Developer
Salt Lake City, UT (hybrid)
12+ month Contract
Pay Range: $50.00 - $70.00per hr


Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with experience in EJB, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end technologies, including JSF, Primefaces, JavaScript, and experience with migrating to React modules. This role will involve working on various aspects of our software development lifecycle, including both back-end and front-end development.


Required Skills:


Back-End Development (30%)

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using EJB and Spring Boot.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.

Database Development (20%)

• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Implement complex data models and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with data architects to enhance database performance.

Front-End Development (30%)

• Work with JSF, Primefaces, and JavaScript to develop and maintain user interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and intuitive designs.
• Migrate existing JSF/Primefaces modules to React as part of a modernization effort.

React Module Migration (20%)

• Lead the migration of legacy front-end components from JSF/Primefaces to React modules.
• Develop new React components and integrate them with existing back-end services.
• Ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption to existing systems.

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• Experience with other Java frameworks and libraries.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
