AsstrA invites you to join our ambitious team as a Country Sales Manager at our branch in New York! MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: - Organization of drayage service;
- Processing of pre- and post-carriage with all modes of transport;
- Recruitment of New owner operators and warehouses;
- Issue Delivery Order and coordinate drayage with consignees & third-party truckers;
- Quotation of rates upon request from the Sales Department;
- Maintain oversight for all containers inbound and outbound traffic within the U.S. and Canada;
- Identify and implement cost containment strategies for triangulation and one-way moves;
- Track and monitor expenses reconcile transportation invoices in A PAY, and guide equipment control duties;
- Monitor and update shipment release status from CBP, PGA, carriers, terminal & warehouses;
- Closing of forwarding files;
- You are available to always support your customer portfolio and offer the AsstrA experience of "Care, Connect, Deliver" with every interaction;
- You are responsible for checking all documents before dispatch and also for clearing all possible customs duties;
- Setting and meeting your own KPIs to advance your team further.
REQUIREMENTS: - Knowledge of Sea Import Shipments;
- Experience of Drayage Service in USA (minimum 3 years);
- Network of Direct Truckers and Drivers;
- Knowledge of AMS and ISF Procedure, Shipping Documents;
- Organization of Import / Export Inland Transportation of Sea Containers (Drayage Service);
- Interaction with Shipping Lines for Import Booking, Disputes and Tracking, Control Over the Organization of Delivery to the Customer's Door, Organization of Trans-Shipment at Terminals and Warehouses;
- Communication with Customs Broker to Support Customs Clearance Provision of Bids at the Request of the Sales Department/ Calculations for Tenders;
- Developing of Network Direct Trucking Companies and Drivers' Transportation Management in the Corporate Accounting System;
- Communication with Internal Clients on Current Business;
- Providing Reports at the Request of Management.
