About The Job:

The Foundation Grant Manager oversees the Foundation’s grant initiatives and processes. This position will also cultivate relationships to maximize and grow the Foundation’s grant programming.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manages daily operations of the FCP Foundation grant process, including: retrieving and processing grant application data, verifying grant applicant’s eligibility, maintaining grant calendars and timelines, scheduling grant agreements, and ensuring grantee compliance.
  • Works with the Foundation Director to maximize the impact of the FCP Foundation, including assessing the outcomes and impact of funded projects, collect data to measure the effectiveness of specific programs and funded activities; collect and coordinate data, photos, and stories for the Foundations Annual Report to ensure high-quality content.
  • Assists in the developing and implementing of grant and scholarship management policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the preparation of complete and timely materials and agendas as requested by Foundation Director/Advisory/Executive Council.
  • Provides grant data and other reports, including post-meeting information, to the Foundation Director and Staff.
  • Provides grant application/proposal training and oversight to applicants and recipients.
  • Communicate with appropriate internal departments and staff to ensure adequate reporting and compliance.
  • Analyze grant funding trends to identify growing programs and areas in need of greater development.
  • Serve as needed as a Foundation-wide resource for communications and reporting, including: in-team, organizational projects, and special events; attending community events when requested; and assists with the planning of special events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to be successful :

  • 3-5 years’ experience in administrative support.
  • Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in computer software programs of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat & PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates a high level of diplomacy and discretion when meeting with community professionals.
  • Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience with GIFTS/Blackbaud software databases or related grant software
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active listening skills.
  • Adaptability and teamwork.
