Tekni-Plex is seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse and Production Teams in Dallas, TX. As a Forklift Operator at Tekni-Plex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations by safely handling materials and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Schedule:
Manufacturing Shifts: Multiple Shifts Available

Warehouse Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Forklifts Safely: Efficiently move materials and products within the warehouse using various types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks.

Load and Unload Goods: Handle shipments with care, loading and unloading products from trucks and containers.

Conduct Inspections: Perform pre-use inspections on forklifts, identifying and addressing any maintenance or safety issues.

Maintain Inventory Records: Utilize RF scanners to track and manage inventory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.

Organize Materials: Efficiently store and organize materials to maximize space utilization and streamline operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar material handling role preferred.

Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA-approved) is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various shift schedules.
