Job Description

We're hiring a Finisher to prepare and apply finishes to various wood and other materials. You'll be responsible for making sure our products look their best and meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for finishing (e.g., sanding, cleaning, filling).

• Apply stains, paints, lacquers, sealers, and other finishing materials using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.

• Ensure smooth, even coats and high-quality appearance.

• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary touch-ups.

• Clean and maintain finishing equipment and tools.

• Follow all safety rules and keep your work area tidy.

• Work well with other team members to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Some experience in finishing, painting, or a similar field (e.g., 1+ year preferred).

• Familiarity with different types of finishes and application methods.

• Good eye for detail and commitment to quality work.

• Ability to follow instructions and work carefully.

• Understand and follow safety procedures.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Local candidates are a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.

• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for precise work.

• Comfortable working in a workshop environment.

• Able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to wear required safety gear (e.g., masks, gloves).
