Financial Analyst
📍 Location: Berwyn, PA (or potentially Kennett Square, PA)
💰 Pay Range: $52.72 - $56.12 per hour

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract , with the potential for extension or even conversion into a full-time role. This position plays a critical role in analyzing financial data, managing project budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making—particularly in the Utilities sector .
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Work heavily with data in Excel , managing, analyzing, and reporting on large datasets.
🔹 Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support budgeting and strategic planning.
🔹 Manage project budgeting , ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
🔹 Analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and market trends to assess financial health.
🔹 Prepare and present financial reports with insights that drive business decisions.
🔹 Collaborate across departments to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring alignment with business goals.
🔹 Provide financial analysis support for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
🔹 Monitor and evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
🔹 Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
🔹 Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
🔹 Offer mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of growth and development.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Minimum of 3 years of financial analysis experience (experience in Utilities is a plus!).
✔ Strong Excel skills —ability to navigate, analyze, and report on large datasets efficiently.
✔ Experience in project budgeting and financial modeling.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
✔ Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
✔ Experience working cross-functionally with various business units.
✔ Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
